Yesterday as I was running I thought to myself, I can’t wait until this gets easier. LOL right?
In running just as in life, it never gets easier. I may get better. I will eventually be able to run 1.5 miles without intervals. When I can do that and have it be easy, it's a sign that I need to do more.
It is easy when it’s easy.
Leveling up, going the next mile, that’s hard. But that’s where the good stuff is. 😎
I knew this 2 months ago, but I didn’t really understand it.It’s so much more clear to me why we need a challenge in our lives. We need to stretch to a place we think we can’t go, so that we know that we can.
This is what I know….
👉I know that with commitment, perseverance and a plan I can do anything. 👉I know that missing one day of training, even if I’m injured means breaking a promise to myself and I am no longer willing to do that.
👉I know that there is no value in comparing myself to someone else. My 1 and her 20 are the same in our own minds.
👉I trust myself and I am proud of me
My wish is that you will find something this week that challenges your mind or your body. Make a promise to yourself and keep it. I’m not saying it will be easy. I’m saying it will be worth it.💗You got this!
